| Class schedule is *TENTATIVE* and subject to change.
Studio opens and classes start at 6pm during the week, and at 9am on Saturdays.
All classes are 1hour each. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that allows your movements to be seen. Dance shoes are optional. Hip scarf is also optional, but there are advantages to wearing one. Hip scarves are available at the studio for purchase. Zills (finger cymbals) will be taught and are available for purchase at the studio. |

**Please note: Starting in our April Session the Bellyburn classes will only be offered on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday of the session. The Veil Technique & Choreography and the "Complete" classes are classes that run for 5 weeks. The spaces in these classes are limited, so please sign up as soon as the registration is open for them! Once these class sessions registration end, no one is allowed into the class until the next session. "Complete" classes are the following: Beginner Complete, Intermediate Complete, Advance Complete This registration schedule is listed only for the classes noted above. The Unlimited Class Card will also run on this same registration schedule. Registration for the session happens the week prior to that session beginning. All other classes run continuously. Session 1: January 7 - February 7 (register for this session the week of Jan 2 or Jan 7) Session 2: February 11 - March 15 (register for this session the week of Feb 4 or Feb 11) Session 3: March 17 - April 19 (register for this session the week of Mar 10 or Mar 17) Session 4: April 21 - May 24 (register for this session the week of Apr 14 or Apr 21) Session 5: May 26 - June 28 (register for this session the week of May 19 or May 26) Session 6: June 30 - August 2 (register for this session the week of Jun 23 or Jun 30) Session 7: August 4 - August 30 (register for this session the week of Jul 28 or Aug 4) Session 8: September 8 - October 11 (register for this session the week of Sept 1 or Sept 8) Session 9: October 13 - November 15 (register for this session the week of Oct 6 or Oct 13) Session 10: November 17 - December 20 (register for this session the week of Nov 10 or Nov 17) |

Intro to Bellydance Just what you need to get started! This class will focus on teaching you the basic fundamental moves found in bellydance. Grab yourself a pair of finger cymbals (zills) cause you'll get a little of that too! Recommended for the newbies. Beginner Complete So...you wanna dance! This class will not only give you the basic fundamentals you need, we're going to put them together for you in a fun beginner choreography! This class runs in a 5 week session so you won't wanna miss a class as each one will build on the week before. You will get a warm-up, review of the moves from previous weeks, new moves, zills (yes, zills!), and then a new part of the choreography. By the end of the session you will have an entire choreography to show family and friends. Recommended for the beginner student or newbie Intermediate Drill Let's learn some new stuff, and then drill it! This class will focus on intermediate moves and technique. Repetition is key so lots of drilling will be involved to assure proper execution. We will also introduce basic layering as well as some of the layering techniques found in the Suhaila Salimpour format. Recommended for the intermediate student or advanced student wanting to brush up on their skills. Intermediate Complete Let's dance..This class will focus on intermediate moves, their technique and execution. We will also introduce basic layering as well as some of the layering techniques found in the Suhaila Salimpour format. You will learn new zill patterns and how to put them over intermediate moves. Of course there will be a great choreography filled with beginner and intermediate moves. This class runs in a 5 week session so you won't want to miss any as each class will build on the previous class. Recommended for the intermediate dancer. Advanced Complete Ah - you're advanced now!! Woot! In this class we will focus on a thorough breakdown of intermediate moves and layering technique as well as introducing more advanced moves for your dance. You know zills are a must so be prepared each week to knock those out! This class runs in a 5 week session with each class building on the previous class. Your choreography will be filled with both intermediate and advanced moves and will at some point incorporate a prop or two! Recommended for the advanced dancer. Belly Fit Physically Fit! Physically Fit! Not your average exercise class! In this class we will focus on exercises that will help us - the bellydancer - increase our stamina and flexibility. The infamous Suhaila "glute squeezes" as seen on Ellen will also be a part of our regimen so don't forget your mat. Recommended for all. Belly Burn Feel the burn! Definitely not sweating to the oldies! Come on in. We'll stretch and do a slow warm up, then a' dancin' we will go. We'll dance till we can't no more! Suitable for all but recommended for those with at least 4 weeks of Intro to Bellydance or Beginner Complete. Shimmies! You've got to move it move it! This class will focus on getting your shimmies going and the stamina to keep 'em going. Recommended for all. Veil Technique & Choreography Come and learn the art of using the veil in your dance! In this class we will focus on a breakdown of veil movement as well as learn bellydance technique and execution. This class runs in a 5 week session with each class building on the previous class. Your choreography will include use of the veil. Suitable for all. Slow and Snaky A Belly Donsah..A Snake Charmer... This class will focus on improving flexibility as well as learning slow dance movements. You will need a mat for this class! Suitable for all but recommended for intermediate and above. Pilates for Bellydance (not being offered at this time) This is not your normal Pilates class! We'll focus on movement that helps the bellydancer improve core muscles. This class is for all of us who want to be confident with our bodies or wish to have the tummy we always wanted! Suitable for all. Zillin & Drillin Want to add that extra flair to your dance? This class focuses on using finger cymbal technique and proper execution, allowing you to feel more comfortable using them while dancing. You'll get in touch with the musician in you waiting to come out! Zills are required, and are available for purchase at the studio. Recommended for all. Zumba An upbeat class filled with the styles of Latin dance and music! You're sure to get your dance on while getting your heart pumping! Be sure to bring indoor shoes to provide proper foot and ankle stability. Suitable for all. Intro to Bhangra What a fun way to get the heart beating or just have a good time with a different style of dance! This class allow you to learn about a dance of festival celebration taking the industry by storm! Suitable for all. |
